Yar’adua: Jonathan Reveals What Dokpesi Told Him In 2015

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has cast his vote in Otueoke in Bayelsa State, South-South region of the country.
Ogun State.

Naija News reports that Jonathan cast his vote at Polling Unit 39, Ward 13, in Otuoke, Ogbia Local Government Area (LGA) of Bayelsa.

Speaking with reporters after casting his vote on Saturday, Jonathan expressed disappointment over the late arrival of election materials to his Polling unit.

He stated that the electoral agency should have mapped out strategies to ensure that the electoral materials arrive at his polling unit and other places in the state.

Jonathan reiterated that the political ambition of any politician is not worth the blood of any Nigerian, adding that ongoing exercise should be free of violence.

The former president said elections must be conducted peacefully and politicians should note that nobody owns Nigeria.

Jonathan advised politicians not to think that they have money to buy votes or cause trouble but use the money for the benefit of humanity. He also appealed to the politicians to behave because the whole world is watching as global senior citizens are around and they want Nigeria to succeed.

He stated: “I served Bayelsa for eight years, the national level eight years, but now I’m back as nothing.

“So, you will leave that office, someday, the position you occupy today, should not diminish us as a human race, but rather improve us as a human race, if you mean well for us.”
