I Saw The Peter Obi Effect Coming Before Elections - Ikpeazu

Some Nigerians have questioned the sudden association of the Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, with the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Naija News reports that this comes after campaign posters of Peter Obi alongside Ikpeazu and another Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate were spotted in Abia State.

The posters show the Abia State PDP Gubernatorial candidate, Uche Ikonne, and Ikpeazu who is running for the senate to represent Abia South.

One of the posters had the inscription ‘Popular Choice of 2023’ and it is uncertain if it was a sensitization on the candidate that residents should vote for during the election or attempted to mislead supporters.

The posters have sparked reactions from many supposed supporters of LP.
