Nigerian singer, Iyanya, has reminisced on how he experienced difficult times in 2021 as he expresses appreciation to God for 2022.

Taking to his Twitter page, Iyanya said he performed at three shows in December last year and while one was paid for, he begged to perform for free at two events so that he could be seen.

However, he is grateful to God for 2022 because he has continued to receive numerous invites for shows and bank alerts.

He wrote: “Last year December 2021, I performed at 3 shows, one paid and I begged to perform at 2 just to be seen. 2022 December, I wake up and everyday to alerts for shows, haven’t had this kind of busy December since 2017. 20+ shows in on month. God Thank you

“And to my fans and everyone who streamed my music this year, God Bless you. There’s got to be more and I promise 2023 will be a better year for everyone who has supported me this year. We will definitely have a great 2023.”

Wrong Medication Left Him Paralyzed

Nollywood actor, Bimbo Manuel has recounted how he became paralyzed due to a doctor’s wrong medication.

The actor in the latest edition of Chude Jideowo’s podcast reflected on his life, career, and other personal issues. Manuel said the incident occurred after he had a car crash some years ago.

The film star revealed that he had visited a general hospital at Lagos Island after he started feeling pain days after the accident.

He said after multiple x-rays were conducted on him, a doctor at the Orthopaedic section of the hospital placed him on treatment for rheumatism and arthritis.

This, he said, worsened his condition as he could not walk again for a period of time.
