Senegalese Stars Send Warning To England Players

Senegalese players are already speaking out, prior to their high-profile match against the England side in their next game of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Senegal’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Idrissa Gueye have issued a stern warning to England ahead of their second-round matchup at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Teranga Lions and the Three Lions will square off, On Sunday, December 4,  and the Senegalese players are upbeat.

Naija News recalls that the reigning African champions sealed the round-16 spot after defeating Ecuador in Khalifa International Stadium.

Chelsea defender, Koulibaly, revealed after the World Cup win against Ecuador of Senegal’s objectives at the global stage ahead of England’s clash.

“Don’t party, don’t be happy. We did something good, but it’s only the beginning. England or whoever, we will do everything to win the game. We are Senegal, we fear no one. Lots of teams don’t want to play against us,” he said.

However, Gueye on the other hand said, “The last 16 is not the objective. We see beyond that. We have no limits. We have a squad to go far. Playing like this, we can do something really interesting in this competition.”

Aliou Cisse’s men will face the Three Lions on Sunday, December 4, 2022, at the Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor.
