The General Overseer of the Redeemed The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye on Friday spoke on the 2023 general elections.

With the 2023 election in sight, Adeboye said God has not spoken to him about whether the election will hold.

The cleric stated this at the redemption camp on Friday while ministering at the November edition of the church’s monthly program tagged, “Holy Ghost Service.”

Speaking on the state of the nation, Adeboye said he does not want to scare Nigerians, adding that God has not told him if the 2023 general election will be held.

He said, “I have not been told anything about next year’s election by God.”

The cleric who stated that he would pray for anyone who comes to him for prayers ahead of the 2023 race, noted that it is God who decides what happens.

Pastor Adeboye added that he’s a pastor and not a prophet amidst the yet-to-come prophecy from God that he prayed for anyone who comes to him asking for prayers, maintaining that it is God who decides what happens after he prays.

He said, “My duty is to pray. I pray for anyone who comes to me for prayers. It is left for God to decide what happens.”

Adeboye called on Nigerians to pray to God to heal the land.
