A supercomputer has predicted that Argentina will lock horns with Portugal in the final of the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Per a theory made by BCA, the Supercomputer further predicted that the Argentines will defeat Portugal in the 2022 World cup tournament.

The projection by the Supercomputer was made using player data from the EA Sports FIFA 2023 game, which also examined 192 group-stage games and 64 knockout rounds from the previous four FIFA World Cup competitions.

According to BCA Research, it stated, “After much deliberation, we believe that when all is said and done, Argentina and Lionel Messi will be the ones to lift the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar,”

“How confident are we about our choice for the winner? While we are happy with our pick, Argentina will face many close games throughout the group stage with the final being essentially a coin. Thus their probability to win the World Cup stands at 7% even as favourites.”

Recall that the 2022 FIFA World Cup start date has been slated for November 20 and ends on December 18.

Argentina, on the other hand, is in Group C of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, alongside Poland, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia, while Portugal is in Group H, among Uruguay, Ghana, and South Korea.
