The family and management of former Big Brother Naija Season 3 Housemate, Rico Swavey, have released details of his burial arrangement.

Naija News recall that the reality TV star passed away on Thursday morning, days after he was involved in a ghastly accident in Lagos.

According to the funeral arrangement, the night of tribute and candlelight will hold on October 19, 2022, while Rico will be laid to rest on October 20.

The post shared on Twitter read: “With a heavy heart, we invite all friends and fans of Rico swavey to his tribute night/candlelight walk tomorrow as we witness a star supernova.

Narratives Surrounding His Death

Since Rico’s death, several narratives on how he died have made the rounds on social media, especially a heartbreaking video showing his last moment.

However, the management in a statement on Sunday debunked the claims online, stressing that the majority of the narratives on social media are false.

According to the statements, some influencers have been paid to promote certain narratives, notwithstanding, details of information on the circumstances surrounding Rico’s accident, treatment and passing will be shared in due time.

Rico’s management further urged his fans to keep his family in their prayers adding that details of his burial arrangements would be announced soon.
