Nigeria To Face Costa Rica In A Friendly Tie Next Month

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will lock horns with Costa Rica on November 9, in San Jose.

Naija News understands that Nigeria has been invited to  Central America as part of the preparation for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, NFF’s FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon, said on Thursday.

The match will take place at San Jose’s National Stadium and start at 8 pm (CST)  and 3 am (WAT) on the 10th of November.

Naija News recalls that the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup finals were held in Costa Rica this year, and Nigeria’s Falconets advanced to the quarterfinals by defeating France, Korea Republic, and Canada in the group stage.

Also, on the 17th of November, the Super Eagles will play Portugal in another friendly match in Lisbon.
