2023 Presidency: Peter Obi Meets Goodluck Jonathan In Abuja

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has met with former Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, in Abuja.

Naija News reports that the former Governor of Anambra State made this known in a tweet alongside photos from the meeting via his verified Twitter handle on Thursday.

The LP presidential flagbearer said he and Jonathan exchanged views on national issues and an array of serious national interest questions during the meeting.

Obi visited the former President at the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Wednesday.

The former governor was accompanied by some of his team, including the former governorship candidate in Anambra State, Oseloka Obaze.

โ€œI recently visited my senior brother, H.E. @GEJonathan to exchange views on an array of serious national interest questions,โ€ he wrote.

Following the development, Nigerian have taken to the micro-blogging platformย  Twitter to express their reactions to the meeting.
