'Emefiele, Buhari Now Put To Shame' - Fani-Kayode Reacts To Supreme Court's Ruling On Naira Policy

Former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has accused the Nigerian military of refusing to prevent the attack on the Kuje Medium Correctional Centre despite warnings by the Department of State Services (DSS).

Naija News recalls that members of the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP) had on Tuesday night attacked the kuje prison, releasing over 500 inmates, including all terrorists, in the facility.

Reports had emerged after the attack that soldiers guarding the facility were redeployed and replaced 24 hours before the unfortunate incident.

In a series of posts on his Twitter handle, Fani-Kayode accused the military of failing to prevent the attack and that of the Abuja-Kaduna bound train attacked by Ansaru bandits earlier in the year, where many passengers were abducted and nine persons killed.

The APC asked why senior military officers and commanders are incompetent, unlike junior officers and soldiers fighting terrorists.

Fani-Kayode wrote: “A situation whereby the DSS not only WARNED the military about the Kaduna train attack & kidnapping but ALSO the Kuje prison break well BEFORE they both took place & the military REFUSED to act to prevent or resist either of them gives cause for alarm & raises many questions.

“Whilst everyone is preparing for 2023, there is clearly something evil and sinister going on.

“Is someone trying to create chaos in order to scuttle our democracy?

“If so, who are these people, what foreign countries are involved, and who is funding Boko Haram and ISWAP?

“The DSS, NIA & NPF are doing their job & they have lost so many men in the course of this conflict.

“Our young soldiers & junior officers who are fighting in the killing fields are doing their best too, but why are our SENIOR OFFICERS & MILITARY COMMANDERS so INCOMPETENT & WEAK?

“Is there not more to this than meets the eye?
