Leke, son of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye has taken to his Instagram account to pay tribute to his elder brother, Dare, one year after his death.

Leke in a post on his account shared a picture of the late cleric and wrote, “One-year remembrance, with love from Leke Adeboye.”

Recall that the third child of the General Overseer of RCCG died last year on May 4 in Eket, Akwa Ibom State, where he was based with his family.

Pastor Dare before his death was married to Temiloluwa and a father to three daughters.

He was also the Assistant Pastor in charge of Region (Youth) 35 before his death.

Pastor Adeboye in a recent service had revealed how he got over his “deep sorrow” following the death of his son.

According to Adeboye, a text message from one of his spiritual daughters healed him of the sorrow after the death of his 42-year-old son in 2021.

He further stated that God loves him despite the loss of his son.

Adeboye said, “When I lost my son last year (2021), then I was deeply in sorrow, I got a text (message) from one of my (spiritual) daughters that suddenly turned the tide. What she wrote was simply this: Daddy, let God carry you.”
