The Nation: The consensus option being canvassed by some of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential aspirants appears dead despite spirited efforts by its protagonists to make it happen.

Daily Trust: With the recent three power grid collapses in less than 30 days, there are worries that acts of power infrastructure vandalism is on the rise. Sunday Independent: With the rate of inflation at 15.92 percent, it is indeed a bleak Easter celebration for Nigerians as the cost of food, clothing, and other household items are out of the reach of the people. As Nigerians celebrate Easter, traders across markets in Lagos State lament that there are no signs of festivity as patronage is very low.

The SUN: Rivers State governor and Peoples Democratic Party presidential aspirant, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, has kicked against the move by some members of the party to achieve consensus in the election of the party’s presidential standard bearer.
