Recall this online platform had reported on Sunday that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is set to end months of waiting and speculations by declaring to join the 2023 presidential race on Monday (today).
Our sources said the Vice President has consulted far and wide and is ready to throw his hat into the ring for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He also on Sunday, hosted governors elected on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) at his residence in the Aso Rock Villa.
The meeting scheduled to kick off by 7.00 pm already had some of the Governors including Mallam Nasir El-Rufa’i of Kaduna and Dapo Abiodun of Ogun within the Vice President’s premises as early as 6.45 pm.
It was during this meeting that he officially notified the Governors of his intention to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.
