According to the data at the FMDQ Security Exchange where forex is traded officially, exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar opened at ₦414.03/$1 on Wednesday 29th, after it closed at ₦415.10 to a $1 on Friday, 24th December 2021.

How much is exchange rate of Dollar to Naira in Black Market today?

The exchange rate for a dollar to naira at Lagos Parallel Market (Black Market) players buy a dollar for N560 and sell at N565 on Wednesday, December 29th 2021, according to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC).

Naija News recalls that the National Assembly had last week Tuesday and Wednesday passed the budget after raising the total estimates from the proposed N16.391tn to N17.126tn.

According to The PUNCH, a communication from the Clerk to the National Assembly, Ojo Amos, disclos that NASS sent the budget to the presidency on Friday and it was received by the Office of the Chief of Staff to the President on Saturday.

The letter of transmission, with Reference Number NASS/CNA/37/Vol.1/35, was addressed to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and titled ‘APPROPRIATION BILL, 2022.’
