WAEC To Introduce CBT For WASSCE

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has dismissed reports making the rounds about suspending 2021 West Africa Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for school candidates.

Speaking on a phone interview on Thursday, July 8, WAEC acting head of public affairs, Demianus G. Ojijeog, told Naija News correspondent that there is no such a thing.

A source had disclosed during an interaction with our correspondent earlier that a school teacher confirmed to him that this year’s WASSCE is no longer feasible.

Reaching out to the WAEC spokesman to confirm the claims, Ojijeog said it is not true.

He reaffirmed that the 2021 WASSCE will commence on August 16 and will run through September 30 as earlier announced.
