Former Kogi Local Govt Chairman, Adejo Akowe Is Dead
Former chairman of Dekina Local Government Area in Kogi, Adejo Akowe, has died four days after being shot by suspected assassins.
Naija News reports that the former council boss died on Saturday morning at the National Hospital Abuja where he was being treated.
Akowe was hospitalised after he was hit by gunshots somewhere in Ayingba.
Recall that assassins had attacked Akowe on the eve of the 2015 Kogi State governorship election.
