Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of plotting to use security agents during the Edo governorship election.
The Rivers State governor made this known on Tuesday during the inauguration of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Campaign Council for the Edo State Governorship Election.
Wike, who is the chairman of the Campaign Council, said threats by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje to “isolate” him until the elections were over, has exposed the plot by the ruling party to take undue advantage of security agents.
According to him, the Kano State Governor was not his match.
“Between me and a man who has been caught pocketing dollars, who deserves to be isolated?” Wike asked.
