JUST IN: Senate Confirms Dabiri-Erewa’s Reappointment As NiDCOM Chair

The last has not been heard of the face-off between Abike Dabiri-Erewa, chief executive officer (CEO) of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), and the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr. Isa Pantami.

It will be recalled Dabiri-Erewa had earlier alleged that staff of her commission were forcefully evicted from an office complex that was previously allocated to it by the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC).

She had said the minister ordered armed men to evict NIDCOM staff from the office.

However, Pantami has denied the allegation, saying there is no truth in the allegations by the NIDCOM boss.

Meanwhile, Naija News has now obtained a video released by Dabiri-Erewa in response to the allegation of Isa Pantami.

She added her staff were not allowed to evacuate their belongings and many of the commission’s property had been seized.

She wrote on Twitter:

“An Islamic scholar should not lie Hon Minister. (Phd??) You did that to me because I am a woman Your disrespect for women is legendary. Left the ugly incident behind me since Feb. But pls release all our office equipment. Public office is transient .@DrIsaPantami,” she tweeted.

“⁦@DrIsaPantami⁩. To refresh you Sir. Despite your denial. The Sec of the Commission seeking for calm .after Staff resumed for work and denied access to the 5th floor office of Nidcom.. Based on your instruction . Turned back by armed men. Haba!!!!.”
