Osinbajo In Self-Isolation Over Coronavirus
Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has gone into self-isolation following the positive test of President Muhammadu Buhari’s Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, for coronavirus.
This was made known on Tuesday by Osinbajo’s Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akande.
Gov. Akeredolu Orders Immediate Closure Of Markets In Ondo
The Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu, has ordered that markets within the state should be immediately shut down following the outbreak of Coronavirus.
The directive was given on Tuesday in a statement issued by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Donald Ojogo.
Coronavirus: Abba Kyari’s Staff Test Positive As Buhari Shut Down Aso Rock
Three staff in the of the Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, have reportedly tested positive to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Naija News reports that the identities of the trio are unknown yet.
The condition of President Muhammadu Buhari‘s chief of staff and his aides has forced the Presidential Villa to shut down as non-essential staff have been asked to stay away.
Ize-Iyamu Commends Buhari, Tinubu For Ending APC’s Crisis
Osagie Ize-Iyamu of the Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has commended President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Leader of the party, Bola Tinubu, for foiling an alleged plan to remove the National Chairman of the party, Adams Oshiomhole.
The governorship aspirant on the platform of the party had accused some people of using the resources of Edo State to push for the removal of the APC National Chairman.
Three New Coronavirus Cases Confirmed In Nigeria
Three new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been confirmed in Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ogun State and Bauchi state.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the FCT and Bauchi cases have travel history to Germany and the UK.
