Super Eagles midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo, has withdrawn from Nigeria’s squad to take on Brazil in an international friendly.

Naija News reports that the international friendly will take place on Sunday, October 13, in Singapore.

No reason was given by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for the withdrawal of the Stoke City midfielder.

The NFF on Thursday also disclosed that there won’t be any replacement for Etebo.

Recall that wing-back, Ola Aina has also been ruled out of the upcoming international friendly match.

Aina picked up an injury after a domestic accident and will not be available for the friendly match.

CD Leganes defender Kenneth Omeruo and Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu had earlier pulled out of the game due to injury.

Meanwhile, Brazil played out a 1-1 draw against Senegal on Thursday at the Singapore international stadium.

Roberto Firmino put Brazil ahead with a lovely chip from Gabriel Jesus’ assist.

Sadio Mane was fouled in the box and Bristol City attacker, Famara Diedhiou equalised from the penalty spot.
