Torino has confirmed the signing of Nigeria full back, Ola Aina from Chelsea in a deal worth, €10 million.
The president of the club, Urbano Cairo, revealed that they have a deal in place for the defender.
He further stated that Torino has taken advantage of a purchase option to sign the Super Eagles star on a permanent deal.
Why speaking with Football Italia, he said, “We’ve redeemed Aina for €10m, as well as Cristian Ansaldi, and Koffi Djidji. Now Torino own all their players.”
This deal makes the Super Eagles defender the most expensive Nigerian fullback in history.
He broke the record previously held by Celestine Babayaro, who was bought by Chelsea for £2.25 million in 1997.
Aina was with Torino last season on loan, playing 30 games as they finished seventh on the table.
He is currently in the camp of the Super Eagles getting set for 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
