Food Blockade: Nnamdi Kanu Lists 3 Questions South Must Answer

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has raised the alarm over alleged assassins at his residence in Afara-Ukwu, Abia State, South-East Nigeria.

Naija News reports that the IPOB leader made the allegation on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Saturday evening, September 14.

This online news platform understands that Kanu said the “assassins” whom he tagged as “Fulani assassins” arrived at his Abia residence in a white Toyota Hilux, “loitering in front” of his house in Isiama-Afaraukwu.

The IPOB leader warned the “Fulani assassins” retrace their steps, noting that if they don’t, whoever sent them will be exposed and held accountable.

Kanu stressed that those that sent the Fulani assassins to his residence in Isiama-Afaraukwu are in for one almighty shock.

The IPOB tweeted: “The Fulani assassins in a white Toyota Hilux loitering in front of my house in Isiama-Afaraukwu tonight better retrace their steps.

“Whoever sent them will be exposed and held accountable. The Efulefus that invited them on this dark day are in for one almighty shock,” Kanu tweeted.

Naija News reports that Kanu’s allegation is coming on the day he honoured members of his group and pro-Biafra agitators killed during the Operation Python Dance II at his residence in Afara-Ukwu, Abia State in 2017.

Naija News recalls that IPOB members and other pro-Biafra agitators clashed with the Nigerian Army in September 2017. The clash in its wake left some “Biafrans” dead and others injured.

Earlier today, IPOB leader revealed that he honoured those killed with a minute silence followed by a prayer at 12:02.

“At exactly 12 Noon Biafraland Time I honoured them with a minute silence followed by a prayer at 12:02. The #Gallant28 and all that fell on this day two years ago are immortal, they will never be forgotten,” the IPOB leader tweeted.

Meanwhile, Naija News reports that Kanu is leading a group (IPOB) seeking secession from Nigeria. The group has since been proscribed by the Federal Government of Nigeria led by President Muhammadu Buhari.
