Just In: ICPC Seals Dikko, NFF Vice President’s Abuja Residence

The Abuja residence of 2nd Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation Shehu Dikko has been sealed by the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission (ICPC).

Naija News understands that the action was taken by the anti-graft agency as part of investigations to uncover alleged financial malpractices in the football association, allegedly involving Dikko and other executives.

Speaking on the closure, Rasheedat Okoduwa, ICPC spokesperson revealed:

“It is true that ICPC sealed Shehu Dikko’s Maitama residence this morning,” she said.

He is being investigated with others over fresh corruption charges. It has nothing to do with the cases of SPIP or EFCC.”

According to a report gathered from The Cable, the residence which was located No. 1 River Benue, Maitama might be one of the properties gotten from the alleged corruption.
