The 2019 Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, on Thursday tendered the results of elections in Niger and Yobe States at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja. The PDP candidate had through Livy Uzoukwu, his lawyer, tendered 5,196 exhibits earlier, before the tribunal on Thursday while additional ones were filed on Friday.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Nigeria’s main opposition party and its Presidential candidate in the 2019 Presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, have said they will challenge the dismissal of their application to be granted access to inspect the central server of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Naija News recalls that the former Vice President and his party had prayed the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to grant them access to inspect the central server allegedly used by INEC to transmit results during the 2019 general elections.

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, has prayed the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal to strike out Atiku Abubakar’s petition against President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election on the ground that he is not a Nigerian by birth.
