The Presidential Election Tribunal on Thursday has so far admitted 883 exhibits from Niger State from Atiku Abubakar and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party.

Naija News recalls the tribunal opened hearing in the petition filed by the PDP and Atiku challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory at the February 23 presidential election.

As previously reported by Naija News, Yunus Usman (SAN) announced appearance as the lead counsel for the Independent National Electoral Commission; Mike Igbokwe (SAN) for President Muhammadu Buhari and Yakubu Maikyau (SAN), appeared for the APC at the sitting.

It is further understood that about 50 boxes containing electoral materials from Niger, Jigawa, Kebbi, and Yobe states, have already been brought into the courtroom.

Uzoukwu also announced that they would be starting the case with Niger State.

INEC led other respondents to object the admissibility of those electoral materials as exhibits.

However, chairman of the tribunal, Justice Mohammed Garba has asked counsel to respondents to present objections at a later stage.
