Ondo State: Protesting Youths Block Gov. Akeredolu’s Office

The Governor’s office in Ondo State has been shut down by youths from Ilaje Local Government Area of the state who stormed the office on Monday morning.

Naija News understands the youths are protesting the alleged diversion of funds meant for the areas by the Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led administration.

Our correspondent reports that as at the time of filing this report, the youths had created human barricade at two gates of the governor’s office at Alagbaka GRA of the state capital, stopping workers from gaining access into the complex.

They also insisted that the governor must address them before they allow anyone to resume work in the premises.

Policemen seen at the location were keeping watch on the development and helping to ensure a free flow of traffic.
