Spanish champions Barcelona are set to sack manager Ernesto Valverde today after missing out on a treble.
Despite leading Barca to the La Liga title, the Catalonia side suffered a humiliating exit from the UEFA Champions League in the hands of Liverpool.
They also miss out on a fifth Copa Dey Rey after a 2-1 loss to Valencia.
Valverde only signed a new contract in February which was to extend his stay at the Camp Nou till 2020, with an option of another year.
According to Spanish outlet RAC1, club chiefs have decided a new direction is needed next season and the manager will be sacked by the club on Tuesday.
Reports in Spain suggest that Belgium manager Roberto Martinez is among the leading candidates to replace the Spaniard, with Thierry Henry touted as his Nou Camp assistant.
