More Trouble For Naira Marley As EFCC Heads To Court

Naira Marley releases new song - soapy

The trouble rocking Nigerian musician, Naira Marley as taken a new dimension with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) set to charge him to court.

Naija News had reported earlier that the anti-graft agency released Zlatan Ibile alongside his crew members, Tiamiu Abdulrahman Kayode, Adewunmi Adeyanju Moses and Abubakar Musa but withheld Naira Marley.

Giving an update on the release, EFCC spokesman, Tony Orilade revealed that the four suspects were only released on administrative bail.

The EFCC spokesman noted that the commission has concrete evidences against Naira Marley, which he said would land the musician in court.

His words: “There is overwhelming evidence against Naira Marley; so we can’t afford to release him on administrative bail like Zlatan and the three others.

“That Zlatan has been released does not mean they have been discharged and acquitted. Naira Marley is still in our custody and will be charged to court soon and we will make the charges known in an official statement soon,” the EFCC spokesman added.
