2023: Atiku Does Not Have Same Electoral Value As Buhari

Peter Obi Present As Tribunal Begins Sitting

The Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal has commenced its inaugural sitting holding in Abuja, the nation’s capital city.

Naija News reports that the five-man panel is headed by the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa who resumed hearing at exactly 10:05am.

Meanwhile, according to reports by Sahara Reporters, the vice-presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the February 23 presidential election, Peter Obi, is also present at the venue of the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal in Abuja.

His presence at the tribunal sitting lays to rest the recent rumour about his health status which has now been cleared.

Naija News recalls Atiku is contesting the 2019 presidential election result which declared Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner.

The nation’s electoral umpire, Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Buhari winner of the polls, leading his closest challenger with over 3 million votes.

This made the PDP and its presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku to file a joint petition to challenge the outcome of the poll.
