Salah Included In Egypt’s World Cup Squad

Liverpool forward and Egyptian player, Mohamed Salah, on Monday was named in Egypt’s 2018 World Cup squad despite his shoulder injury, which he suffered in the Champions League final.

The Egyptian Football Association revealed that Salah is still undergoing treatment.

Recall that Naija News had earlier reported that Salah’s treatment period will last for three weeks and should be back in play when Egypt plays their second match in the World Cup.

Salah, who scored 44 goals for the EPL side, Liverpool last season in all competitions, was forced out of the Champions League final in tears last month clutching his left shoulder after being wrestled to the ground by Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos.
