Masquerader, 2 Others Killed During Ebe Festival In Kogi State

 

Three persons, one of whom is a masquerader, have been shot dead at Inoziomi Quarters, in the Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State.

The victims were reportedly shot on Saturday during the Ebe Festival, a traditional celebration in the state.

An eyewitness told Punch that the murder happened at about 9pm when some unknown armed bandits on a motorcycle shot sporadically at the victims.

Confirming the killing, an Assistant Superintendent of Police, assured that the perpetrators of the “heinous act will be apprehended to face the wrath of the law.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, William Aya also confirmed the attack.
