ICPC arrests 4 ex- commissioners in Kogi state
Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has arrested and detained four commissioners who served under the former Governor of Kogi State, Idris Wada’s administration.
ICPC stated that the former commissioners were arrested in relation to fraud.
The spokesman of the commission, Rasheedat Okoduwa, made the ex-commissioners’ arrest known in a statement on Thursday.

Jonathan was an accidental president – Saraki
Senate President, Bukola Saraki has said that former President Goodluck Jonathan rode on the wings of luck and circumstances to emerge Nigeria’s president when he did.
Saraki made the disclosure Thursday in Abuja while speaking at the unveiling of a book titled ‘On a Platter of Gold’ written by the national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi.

Akeredolu stops free WAEC registration for students in ondo state
The Ondo State government has annouunced that it will no longer pay for the registration for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The government’s decision comes just one month after the recommendation of the stakeholder summit held in the state.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu-led government said parents and guardians should start paying for WAEC fees of their children and wards, starting from next year.
