Maina Speaks, says he would reveal the real thieves soon

Embattled former Chairman of the Presidential Taskforce on Pension Reforms, Abdulrasheed Maina, has finally spoken, claiming innocence.

Maina disclosed in a video, which has circulated the social media space.

He emphatically said there is no money missing, as they (including Maina) know where the funds are being kept.

The former pension boss also asserted that he is still within the country and had not left Nigeria, but had to go into hiding for fear of assassination.

Maina alleged that some unknown individuals were trying to have him killed.

He went on to state that he had not stolen any money and as such was not a thief. He also included that he  had documents that would expose who the real thieves are.

Maina said, “We know where these monies are.”

He called on Nigerians not to believe the rumours about him, saying that he never stole N195 billion and alleged that N300 million was being stolen every day.
