President Muhammadu Buhari has sacked the previously suspended Babachir Lawal, as the secretary to the government of the federation (SGF).
The President also terminated the appointment of the Director-General, National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ayo Oke.

Suspected Monkeypox case recorded in Kano
The Kano State government has confirmed that a suspected case of monkeypoxhas been recorded in the state.
The disclosure was made by the Kano State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Kabir Getso, while he addressed journalists on Saturday in Kano
Disclosing that the case was discovered in Bebeji Local Government Area of the state, Getso added the patient’s blood sample had been sent to Abuja for clinical verification.

UNILAG releases 2017/2018 admission list (merit list)
The University of Lagos, UNILAG, has released its merit list for admission into its 2017/2018 academic session.
Candidates who applied for admission into the University are advised to check their status on the school’s website.
