Aribo, Osimhen, Onuachu Named In Pesiero’s Squad To Face Portugal

Nigeria Head coach, Jose Peseiro has named his squad ahead of the international friendly match against Portugal.

The Nigeria Football Federation’s Communications Department announced the list of invited athletes on Friday.

In the list, William Ekong, Francis Uzoho, Wilfred Ndidi, Calvin Bassey, Kevin Akpoguma, Joe Aribo, Alex Iwobi, Moses Simon, Ademola Lookman, and Victor Osimhen are a few of the well-known players.

Returning to the group is the quartet of Oghenekaro Etebo, Tyronne Ebuehi, Paul Onuachu, and Olisa Ndah.

Meanwhile, Fenerbahce’s Bright Osayi-Samuel and Portuguese-born Bruno Onyemaechi got their first call-ups.

The Super Eagles and Portugal will play an international friendly at the Estadio Jose Alvalade in Lisbon on the 17th of November, 2022, and kick off at 6.45 pm Portugal time (7.45 pm in Nigeria).
