Photos: Body Of Late Dr Chinelo Megafu Who Died In Abuja-Kaduna Train Attack Arrives Lagos

Body of Dr. Megafu Nwando Chinelo, one of the victims onboard the ill-fated Abuja-Kaduna train attacked by bandit terrorists last week Monday night and which attracted emotional and angry reactions on social media, has arrived Lagos.

Recall the late doctor was said to have tweeted about her safety when the train was attacked but some social media users tagged her alarm as fake news.

Chinelo, a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, was said to have resigned from her appointment at St Gerald’s hospital in Kaduna amidst plans to relocate abroad on Friday.

“I’m in the train. I have been shot please pray for me,” Chinelo’s last tweet on the microblogging platform read

However, the female medical doctor was said to have later died from the gunshot wounds sustained during the attack.

A family member, who shared the photos below said, “Final journey to Lagos for our daughter, Dr. Chinelo Megafu aboard Arik Air. 07 /04/22.”
