AXA Mansard Appoints Three New Non-Executive Directors

AXA Mansard Insurance has announced the appointment of three non-executive directors in the company.

Naija News reports that the company which offers non-banking financial services on health, life, motor, travel, health insurance and investment, appointed two new non-executive directors and an independent non-executive director.

The company disclosed the new development in a statement issued on Tuesday by the Company’s Secretary, Omowunmi Adewusi.

The two non-executive directors are Mr Thomas Hude and Ms Latifa Said, while Ms Abiola Bada was appointed independent non-executive director.

The statement revealed that Hude has over 10 years of experience in corporate and business strategy, personal and commercial lines, finance as well as investor relations.

It added that the appointee has extensive experience in life, savings and health insurance businesses and is currently the deputy strategy development officer of AXA Africa.

“He is currently the head of P&C Risk Management at AXA International New Market. Prior to this, he worked at AXA France as head of Non-Life Risk Management as well as head of Technical and Financial Department,” the statement said of Hude.

Revealing Said’s portfolio, the company said the appointee has over 18 years of experience in Human Resources and currently oversees the Human Resources for AXA entities in Africa.

It added that Bada is a chartered accountant with work experience spanning 35 years in the professional services, financial sector, and regulatory environment in the areas of auditing, inspection, organisation and methods, marketing, and general administration.
