NCDC Announce 238 New Cases Of Coronavirus

The Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday at 11:00 pm confirmed that 238 new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in Nigeria.

This brings the total number of cases in the country to 2170.

In the new cases reported, 92 were recorded in Kano, 36 in FCT, 30 in Lagos, 16 in Gombe, 10 in Bauchi, 8 in Delta, 6 in Oyo, 5 in Zamfara, 5 in Sokoto, 4 in Ondo, 4 in Nasarawa, 3 in Kwara, 3 in Edo, 3 in Ekiti, 3 in Borno, 3 in Yobe, 2 in Adamawa, 1 in Niger, 1 in Imo, 1 in Ebonyi, 1 in Rivers, and 1 in Enugu.

COVID-19: Daar Communications Risk Being Shut Down As Owner, Raymond Dokpesi, Seven Other Family Members Test Positive

Chief Raymond Dokpesi, founder of Daar communications, alongside his daughter-in-law, and six other members of his family, have tested positive for Coronavirus.

A test conducted by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC on the Dokpesi family came out positive for eight members of the family

This is coming 3 days after his son and chairman of the board of the company, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr tested positive for the virus.

Lagos Neglect FG’s Guidelines, Issues New Lockdown Orders

As Lagos continues to spearhead the fight against the deadly Coronavirus, the state government has warned operators of various mechanic workshops to prevent security breaches in their environment.

The state government further noted that such workshops are to ensure that they evacuate all vehicles in their premises within the next one week and keep their surroundings clean.

This was made known by Commissioner for Transportation, Dr. Frederic Oladeinde, who also warned that the government, through its Committee on the abandoned vehicles, would enter any workshop that fails to comply and tow the vehicles away.
