COVID-19: Oba Of Benin Bans Hearing Of Complaints Indefinitely

The Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo,Oba Ewuare II, has put on hold the hearing of all complaints brought by various communities, groups and individuals to the palace, in view of the ravaging Coronavirus.

Naija News learnt that the monarch, made this known in Benin, through his Acting Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Victor Ogiemare, stated that there was the need to take precautionary measures over Coronavirus, which he noted was causing panic worldwide.

The first-class king noted that a new date would later be announced for the hearing at the palace, in conformity with Federal Government’s position in curbing the deadly virus.

Oba of Benin also urged all Nigerians to join hands to defeat the Coronavirus, as they did during the Ebola outbreak.
