The Evidence Is Unmistakable, Tinubu Fulfilling His Promises To Nigerians – Says Yilwatda

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has said the intervention programmes introduced by President Bola Tinubu’s administration are proof that the Renewed Hope Agenda is delivering economic benefits to millions of Nigerians.

Yilwatda said the programmes were helping to drive entrepreneurship, support small businesses, create jobs and deepen economic inclusion across the country.

In a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media and Information Strategy, Abimbola Tooki, the APC chairman said the Presidential Intervention Funds reflected Tinubu’s commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises.

Yilwatda noted that access to affordable finance had, for many years, remained one of the biggest challenges confronting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, despite their contribution to economic growth and job creation.

He said the Tinubu administration had deliberately moved to address the challenge through targeted intervention programmes aimed at unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of Nigerians.

“The Tinubu administration recognises that sustainable economic development starts with empowering the productive sector. By supporting small businesses and young entrepreneurs, the government is establishing a foundation for enduring prosperity and collective economic advancement,” he said.

Yilwatda Highlights ₦75 Billion MSME Fund

The APC chairman described the ₦75bn Presidential Intervention Fund for MSMEs as a major initiative designed to provide accessible financing for small businesses across different sectors of the economy.

According to him, the fund is helping entrepreneurs expand their operations, improve productivity and create job opportunities.

He also cited the ₦11bn support package provided through the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria, describing it as a strategic investment in the capacity and competitiveness of small and medium-scale enterprises.

Yilwatda further commended the ₦30 billion Youth Entrepreneurship Fund facilitated by the Niger Delta Development Commission, saying the initiative reflected Tinubu’s commitment to equipping young Nigerians with resources to transform innovative ideas into thriving businesses.

Yilwatda said the initiatives were already making a meaningful impact in the lives of ordinary Nigerians, including young entrepreneurs, artisans, farmers, traders, tailors, manufacturers and other small business owners.

He added that the funds were helping beneficiaries access capital, grow their businesses, create more jobs and contribute to the economic development of their communities.

According to him, the impact goes beyond individual beneficiaries, as the programmes are also generating a multiplier effect through improved productivity, higher household incomes, stronger local economies and wider opportunities for wealth creation.

“The APC is steadfast in its commitment to fostering an economy that benefits all Nigerians. These intervention funds are not simply policy declarations; they represent tangible investments in the dreams and aspirations of millions of our citizens.

“The evidence is unmistakable. Businesses are receiving assistance, young individuals are being empowered, jobs are being generated, and economic inclusion is on the rise. This is governance that yields results, and it serves as further proof that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is fulfilling his promises to the Nigerian populace,” Yilwatda stated.

The APC chairman reaffirmed the party’s support for policies that promote entrepreneurship, attract investment, strengthen local industries and build a resilient economy capable of delivering sustainable growth.

He said the ruling party and the Tinubu administration remained committed to expanding opportunities for Nigerians through programmes that directly support productivity and enterprise development.
