Start Begging On Streets Instead Of Using Relationship To Raise Money – Emeka Ike Tackles Ladies

Veteran Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has shared his views on relationships, saying love and marriage should not be blamed for the many failed unions seen today.

According to him, the real problem begins when people enter relationships with the aim of making financial gains instead of building a genuine connection.

Naija News reports that the actor spoke during an interview with BBC News Pidgin.

He said a relationship loses its true meaning when one partner sees the other only as a source of money or personal benefit.

Emeka said love is meant to be sincere and built on trust, honesty and commitment.

He stated that many relationship problems come from hidden intentions rather than from the idea of marriage itself.

The thespian also criticized the growing habit of some women choosing partners mainly because of what they expect to receive financially.

According to him, using romance as a way to make money destroys the true purpose of relationships, which should be based on care, respect and mutual understanding.

Love and marriage is not scam. But there are a few people that are hungry, that are using relationship as a meal ticket. That’s where it becomes a scam.

“So plenty of girls are going into relationships because of what they want to get, wetin dey wan collect from the man. They should just go and be begging for money on the streets, not using relationship. Relationship is supposed to be sacred.

“Good girls should not listen to those women whose marriages have scattered and they come online to give wrong marriage advice. People endure in relationship. People try to find out the problem of their spouse in relationship. People try to solve it. Don’t just be with them for financial gains”, he stated.
