Peter Obi: You Have No Right To Insult Me – Umahi Blasts Obidients

Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has challenged Obidients Movement to show what their principal, Peter Obi, did when he was the governor of Anambra State.

Naija News reports that Umahi threw the challenge on Thursday at the flag-off ceremony of Babban-Lamba Sharam Road (phase II) in Plateau State.

He said that if anyone wants to insult him, they should do so constructively.

Those who say I’m not on ballot, I’m on ballot. For the Obidients insulting me, let’s be very objective. What did your principal do as governor?

“I have been Party Chairman, Deputy Governor, Governor, Senator, and Minister. Then put credentials of your principal, and then let us see what I did as Governor of Ebonyi State and what he did.

“You have no right to insult me. But if you call on the president, I will call on you,” he said.

Meanwhile, Umahi, has accused Obi, of always attacking his integrity and personality.

Speaking on Wednesday at the launch of construction of the Akwanga-Jos superhighway, Umahi said that Obi is ignorant of governance

He accused the former Anambra State Governor of making a mockery of governance by snapping the bad portion of the road and posting it on social media to score cheap political points.

Naija News reports that the Minister thereafter challenged Obi to a debate.

“I feel so sad when my brother, the former Governor of Anambra State, who should know what administration is, what governance is.

“I saw his social media when he got to a point where the road is bad, and he snapped it. When did governance reduce to comedy? He was attacking my integrity and personality. I’m always ready for a debate, I’m always ready to disaggregate the unit cost of concrete and to debate with him,” he said.
