2027: ‘Tinubu’s Strategy To Avoid Electoral Loss Seems Desperate’ – Sam Amadi
Director of the Abuja School of Social Thought and Politics, Sam Amadi, has opined that President Bola Tinubu’s strategy to avoid losing the 2027 presidential election seems extreme and desperate.
Naija News reports that the remark comes amid a crisis within opposition parties and court judgments nullifying the registration of political parties ahead of the 2027 election.
In a post on his 𝕏 handle, Amadi said President Tinubu might lose, which could lead to an extreme response.
According to Amadi, the current desperation and recklessness may destroy the entire edifice of Nigerian democracy, even in their failure.
He wrote: “@officialABAT strategy to avoid electoral loss in 2027 seems extreme and desperate. I believe he will lose out. But it could lead to extreme response.
“The tragedy is that the current desperation and recklessness may destroy the entire edifice of Nigerian democracy even in their failure.
“I hope there are enough patriots to step in and save Nigeria when that happens. May Nigeria survive.”
Meanwhile, Sam Amadi recently stated that the 2027 election will be the most farcical in Nigeria’s history.
Speaking via a post on 𝕏, he stated that despite the absurdity of the election, some self-proclaimed intellectuals and technocrats are still immersed in the activity.
He asserted that the candidates are running against the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, Peter Obi and not President Bola Tinubu.
