‘Tinubu’s Scorecard Making Opposition To Sweat’ – Presidency

The presidency has asserted that President Bola Tinubu‘s achievements since assuming office are making it difficult for the opposition to get results.

Naija News reports that Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Media and Public Communications, Sunday Dare, made the remark while sharing an Artificial Intelligence (AI) video of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and Labour Party (LP) 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.

Dare stated that the opposition is sweating it out to get results, adding that their presidential ambition is dead on arrival.

He wrote: “It is Hard to fight Results. The opposition sweating it out. As President TINUBU’S scorecard makes them sweat.

“Presidential ambitions dead on arrival. DOA. ⁦@officialABAT⁩ ⁦@OfficialAPCNg⁩.”

Meanwhile, Nollywood veteran cum politician, Kenneth Okonkwo, has demanded the immediate resignation of Senate President Godswill Akpabio from office.

Naija News reports that Okonkwo, in a post via his 𝕏 account on Thursday, described Akpabio as an enemy of democracy.

Speaking against the backdrop of the controversy which has followed the position of the Senate on the clause for the mandatory transmission of election results electronically in Nigeria, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) chieftain alleged that the Senate President is clandestinely trying to make Tinubu a life president to be succeeded by his wife or son after his demise.

He called on Nigerians to push for Akpabio’s removal from office.
