I Decided To Show Him Love – Phyna Speaks On Romantic Relationship With Kolu

Big Brother Naija star Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, has addressed recent rumors linking her romantically to content creator Kolu.

Naija News reports that Kolu often collaborates with singer and Nigerian streamer Carter Efe.

Rumours about the romantic relationship started after several livestream sessions on platforms like Twitch, where Phyna and Kolu shared playful interactions.

Viewers noticed moments such as forehead kisses, holding arms, and teasing conversations, which quickly went viral and sparked online chatter about a potential romance.

Phyna, however, dismissed the dating rumours, explaining that their interactions were purely for fun and entertainment.

She stated that she has asked Kolu to maintain boundaries, and any future appearances together would be as friends.

The former BBNaija winner expressed surprise over reports suggesting Kolu developed deeper feelings, insisting their time together was lighthearted from her perspective.

She said: “I have told Kolu to stay away from me, so when next you see us together that means he has agreed to be friends.

“If Kolu dey with Cater Efe, he for doing use slap scatter am. So I decided to show him love from my end.”

The rumours gained more attention after Carter Efe joked during a stream that Phyna and Kolu were in a relationship.

He also alleged that Kolu bought a new car for Phyna, though Kolu later explained the purchase was connected to heartbreak.
