15-Year-Old Nigerian, Makes History With Perfect SAT Score
A 15-year-old Nigerian student, Agbo Adoga of Graceland International School, Port Harcourt, has stunned the academic world by scoring a perfect 1600 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), a feat rarely achieved globally.
The news was first broken on 𝕏 (formerly Twitter) by Alex Onyia, an education advocate and founder of Educare, who described Adoga’s performance as a historic moment for Nigeria.
The SAT, widely used for college admissions in the United States, has long been a rigorous hurdle for millions of students worldwide. Achieving a 1600 score, the maximum possible, places Adoga in the top percentile of test-takers globally.
Onyia, in his post, wrote: “I have a very good news for Nigeria. This boy Agbo Adoga from Graceland International School, Port-Harcourt just scored a perfect SAT score of 1600. He is the first ever in Nigeria to achieve this.”
