The Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has berated stakeholders after failing to celebrate his ‘kind gesture’ of deciding to share his security votes.

Naija News reports that Adeleke expressed his displeasure at the maiden edition of the state governor’s interactive session with indigenes of the state on Thursday, October 5.

He announced that upon assuming office, he was told that he had security votes of about N5OO million to N600 million, but told the state officials to redirect the money into developmental projects in the state.

However, Adeleke felt a bit displeased after the guests at the event were not expressive of their appreciation for his decision.

Berating the stakeholders, the Governor noted that if it were in America, people would have stood up and clapped for 20 minutes.

The state government, in a statement on Friday, by the Commissioner of Information and Public Engagement and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, slammed a 24-hour curfew on the warring communities.

The governor equally directed the Joint Security Task Force comprising, the Army, Police and Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps to be on 24-hour surveillance of the two communities.
