Sanusi’s Daughter Set To Tie Knot With Ex-husband Of Popular Nigerian Actress

The daughter of the former Emir of Kano Lamido Sanusi, Hafsat is set to marry Othman El-Kudan years after her divorce.

Naija News reports El-Kudan via his official Facebook on October 1st, announced that the wedding will take place on Friday at the Emir of Zazzau’s Palace in Zaria, Kaduna State.

“You are all invited. Which will take place on Friday 6th October, 2023 @Zazzau Emirate Place, Zaria by 2:00pm noon Insha Allah. Accept this as our official invitation,”the invitation card shared on his page read.

The groom, it was learnt, was previously married to Kannywood actress Rahman Hassan.

Hafsat, a graduate of law, was also previously married to Abubakar Kurfi. They wedded in Kano on December 20, 2016, at a ceremony that had high-profile personalities in attendance.

Her marriage to Abubakar Kurfi produced a female child.

Since her divorce, Hafsat has bagged a master’s degree in law at Soas University in London.

Othman, who was a former political adviser to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan and also a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain will have former Vice President, Namadi Sambo stand as the groom’s father at the low-key wedding while the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Bammali, will stand as the bride’s father.
