‘It Is Always A Mix Of Pain And Gratitude Whenever I See My Old Pictures’ – Kechi Okwuchi

Sosoliso plane crash survivor, Kechi Okwuchi, has reminisced on life before and after the plane crash that killed 103 passengers in 2005.

Naija News reports that the singer took to her Instagram page to share her throwback photos and current photo.

Kechi said she always experiences a mix of nostalgia, pain and gratitude whenever she looks at her old and current pictures.

The songwriter added she is always in awe of what time can do and what God can do with time.

She wrote: “This always happens whenever I see my old pictures. A mix of nostalgia, pain and gratitude fills me inside and I marvel at what time can do, what God can do with time. Anyway I hope this encourages someone (side note: bottom left is the first time I smiled after the accident according to my mom, and it was when I saw my grandma 🥰)”

I’ll Never Allow Myself To Be Bullied

Meanwhile, Kechi Okwuchi has said she will not be bullied into believing she is less because of her looks.

She disclosed this in a post shared on her Twitter page alongside a new photo.

The former America’s Got Talent contestant said that she would not think less of herself based on the fact that she does not fit the conventional beauty standard in society.

Kechi Okwuchi added that everyone’s perception of her is rightfully theirs and it does not sway her value because she deserves to take up space in the world.
