Customs ACG Decorates New Management Members

The Acting Comptroller General (ACG) of the Nigeria Customs Service, Adewale Adeniyi, has decorated the newly appointed management team of the service.

The event took place in the nation’s capital city, Abuja, on Monday, Naija News understands.

In his remark, Adeniyi reminded the decorated management team members that much is expected from them, hence the need to redouble their commitment and dedication to the success of the service.

Recall that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu had last week approved the appointment of six new management members of the NCS.

In a statement, however, issued on Tuesday morning, Adeniyi stated that the appointments of the three Deputy Comptrollers-General and three Assistant Comptrollers-General were due to their exemplary dedication and commitment to service.

Adeniyi, while decorating the officers, charged them to heighten their devotion and determination in promoting the NCS.

“The newly promoted officers know that there are high expectations of them. Therefore I urge them to renew their dedication and commitment to add value to the Nigeria Customs Service,” The PUNCH quoted the NCS boss saying.

Deputy Comptroller General of Customs, Festus Okun, in his vote of thanks on behalf of the newly appointed members, expressed his appreciation to President Tinubu for the unwavering belief in their capabilities.

He assured the President that they would discharge their responsibilities with utmost professionalism.
